Well, thanks for the support guys! Good news, too! Using two swf extractor programs, I was able to pull the swf off of the play version thread, and then extract the images and plug-in text files from the newest version. This took away 5 days worth of work! I'm fixing up the sound effects today before I head off, and so I should only have between 2-4 days to go!

This all depends on how cooperative flash will be with me this time around. I upgraded it to run on Flash 6 and up, but in the end I may upgrade the file to the latest version just in case... The reason it loads so slowly right now is because there are a ton of extra files I don't use in the game that I'm planning on getting rid of when I finish it. I keep them as backup in-game though, since most of them can replace the files I currently use, just in case something happens and the file gets corrupted or something.

You're forgeting BMIII and raffitz Flashgate.

I meant the first thing with other TV nations in it (SG-1, the cylons etc.), and by that I meant the first to be completed.

this isn't really a plugin. and i agree, Jerome, you can have as much time as you need.

Well, I have something to say... It's not to be pessimist or anything, but I think 8 days to finish it from an old version is pushing yourself very hard, isn't it??

Not exactly. Don't know if I mentioned it yet or not, but I got a lot of my more recent work back onto it in one day thanks to that SWF extractor, and the other program. So that leaves me mainly with only making the game LOOK better, and the default plug-ins (except for the ones I finished, a.k.a the weapons and ship data plug-ins) So in that regard, I really don't have much to do. Besides fixing a few bugs. Like one in which the 23rd century phaser sound plays when I click New Game on the menu (I found out that removing the sound, while preventing it from being played when you use the phaser from the Constitution class, also keeps it from playing on the menu when you click something).

I think a few sounds are in the wrong places, so right now a lot of my attention is being diverted to the sound effects. I finished the main menu, but not any of the sub menus or the HUD just yet. After I'm done with the sound effects, that will be my next order of business before finishing the default plug-ins. Then it's a work complete. Oh, and that glitch where it freezes up doesn't seem to happen anymore. I updated it to Flash 6 when I saved it, so that probably did it. Cheers to that! And it will very likely be out by sometime tomorrow or so if I manage to get enough time to work on it. This is my last day without courses, so I'm aiming to do as much as I can today so I can finish it all by tomorrow along with the first day of my college courses for this semester.
