But you're also not showing your true self in public. I have a bunch of asshole teachers; I could never call them that in school. Here? I'm telling you that they're assholes cause you don't know them and they don't come here. No fear of retaliation

So would you agree that it is more equal in both sides of the playing field? Meaning that you can tell someone's honesty about as equally on the net as in RL, but in different scenarios, different reactions would occur. For instance, calling a teacher an ass hole in public would have certain consequences, so it's not acted upon for the benefit for everyone. So in that situation, there would be a situation that balances that out except on the net? Perhaps (lame example ahead) you wouldn't call me an ass hole in public here for fear of being banned?
