Tecchie news

Post by Shemuel on 2010-06-10, 13:25

Well most of the people on this forum seem to be pretty technologically aware, so why not make a specific discussion thread? Although if we end up talking about more complex stuff I might have to put up a disclaimer.

Google have changed their homepage to a Bing-style background, also changing the logo to a white silhouette.

Any thoughts? Personally, I liked the blank because now it's (minisculely) more confusing when all you want to do is type in a word or phrase. You can change it back if you have an account with google.

I never visit the portal page. Thus the non-discovery.

Actually, I bookmark the 'search for posts since last visit' page. It's the ultimate lazy way of keeping abreast of things.

I don't think any other country in the world could have as archaic a system as Britain does in some aspects. "Worshipful Company"?
